The comeback kid. Thought this plant was a complete goner but it just put up a new shoot. Life finds a way.

Please realize that whatever negative thing you believe yourself to be, you are truly the OPPOSITE. Do you believe you are small? You are expansive and grand. Do you believe you are weak? You are the strength of life itself. Do you believe you are ugly? You are everything lovely and beautiful. Do you believe you are dark? You are filled with the light of the universe. Do you believe you are unlovable? YOU ARE LOVE INCARNATE.

Giving up my favorite corner of the bedroom for the arrival of one of my favorite people :) with the bassinet set up I'm now just waiting for labor and resting from my intense nesting. I'm really tired now hahahaha. Btw I love that mirror... it's plastic and super lightweight, only $1 from the dollar store!

I only ever eat this much for breakfast during late term pregnancy or full time breastfeeding.

Now that babe has flipped head down again (thank you baby!) I've gone into full-blown nesting. Yesterday I made 5 batches of yummy date bars. One batch doesn't make very much (especially when your kids want them too) but my food processor is rather small. So I did it 5 times in a row! These are seriously delicious and addictive (but admittedly expensive). Here's the recipe I've settled on: Process together until fine: 1/2 cup pecans 1/2 cup cashews 3/4 cup coconut flakes 1/4 cup cocoa powder A bunch of salt (I never measure). Once fine, add 1 TBSP coconut oil 1 TBSP water 14 pitted dates And process until blended as much as possible. Press into a container and refrigerate for a few hours and then cut into pieces.
